The University of Stuttgart, research area heating-ventilation-air-conditioning technology came to the conclusion in a model heat calculation that the TDA system makes sense. The higher the rooms, the greater the savings.
Comparison - In the model calculation, the heat demand of 2 halls of the same design, with identical thermal insulation and in the same climatic environment was calculated. Heating is usually provided by PWW warm air generators, which are supplied centrally. One hall was equipped without, the other hall with the TDA system.
Result - A 23% reduction in the heating load was the result. And this in an ide- alally insulated environment according to current standards. In a building that is not ideally thermally insulated, the saving can be up to 30%.
Cost Reduction - Every degree increase in floor temperature means about 6% more energy used and therefore heating costs. Use the existing heat before adding new, expensive heat. The TDA system helps you do this.
