Corona (Covid-19) and fans
Quotation from Prof. Christian Drosten (Head of Virology at Charité Berlin) in his podcast episode 40 at NDR:
"But an air turnover that happens, that is initially always also provided with a Verdünnungseffekt. You can also find good creative solutions there. I had already mentioned this for schools: Open the window and put a big fan in the window that moves the air outside, so that there is a decent air flow inside. This is a good way to create some turnover. Many pubs also have ceiling fans. You can turn them on slowly, not so that your hat blows off, but slowly, so that a certain air turnover happens and air is drawn outside."
