Electric radiant heater for indoor and outdoor
Electric radiant heaters are characterized by diverse and flexible applications. Especially in outdoor areas, modern, short-wave electric IR electric radiant heaters have a decisive advantage, as their high range, unlike other heating systems, makes them ideal for heating even drafty and windy outdoor areas such as terraces, balconies and outdoor seating. While the warm air used by other heating systems quickly dissipates outdoors and rarely reaches where it is needed, the short-wave infrared radiation of a modern electric heater, much like the rays of the sun, reaches the body and warms it. Electric systems are here clearly superior to gas-powered models, because they draw your energy from the socket. There is no need to change expensive gas cylinders. In addition, the handling of bottled gas, especially for the layman, is sometimes "fire hazard". In addition, the much higher efficiency of electric heaters and the associated lower costs is a major argument for the electric heater.
Whether indoors or outdoors, a quick, easy and safe installation ensures a permanently safe and satisfactory operation. electric radiant heaters are usually screwed to the wall with special brackets or suspended from the ceiling with steel cables or chains. In bathrooms, for safety reasons, the degree of protection must be at least IPX5, and outdoors at least IPX4. Corrosion- and weather-resistant materials should be preferred so that you can enjoy your electric radiant heater for a long time. The connection is made with most devices by means of Schuko plug to a normal socket. Please use extension cables only if they are also approved for the power of the patio heater. Stationary installed models should be connected best with a fixed connection to the electrical house network.
When using electric radiant heaters with a base, make sure that the base is secure and level so that it will not tip over. The hot radiators can cause injuries if they fall over. If the electric radiant heater is installed on a parasol, it must be placed stably for the same reasons.
If the devices are not used for a long time, it is recommended to cover them with a plastic film to avoid unsightly dust and protective deposits.
