Small ceiling fans - suitable not only for small rooms

Small ceiling fans are used for several applications. In small rooms, a large ceiling fan would be inappropriate - it dominates the room. Smaller models, on the other hand, look harmonious in relation to the size of the room. But even in larger rooms, a small ceiling fan can be used: namely, when selective areas are to be ventilated. This is because it generates a higher air velocity at a smaller air volume than its big brother, and this is excellent for spot air movement.

A small ceiling fan can be equipped with both light and remote control. In the models without light, the lighting can be retrofitted. Other devices have an integrated light. Depending on the model, control is by pull cord switch, separately for light and motor steps. Optionally, a remote control or wall switch can also be retrofitted here. Small ceiling fans are available as very flat models for rooms with low ceilings or also with a short suspension rod, which can be retrofitted with a ceiling rod of up to 120 cm when installed in very high rooms.

Our smallest ceiling fan, the Nordik Gordon W, is available with an impeller diameter of 30 or 40 cm. Its protective grille makes it perfect for very low rooms, as the protective grille prevents injury to the rotating impeller in the event of accidental contact. The next larger nominal size is the diameter 75 cm, in which extra-flat models and models with ceiling rods are available.
