The adhesive insect traps Butterfly and Mo-Fly are only permitted for use in closed rooms

The devices must not be used outdoors, as non-selective insect traps (devices with UV light as an attractant) catch not only pests but also useful and protected insects there and threaten biodiversity. Attracting, trapping, and killing specially protected animals with artificial light sources or electronic devices is prohibited by law!

In areas where food is processed, high-voltage traps are not allowed, because the insect virtually "explodes" on contact with the electrodes. Parts of it are flung up to 8 meters away and thus enrich the vegetarian meal under certain circumstances. Hygienically absolutely harmless are insect traps that attract with a insect lamp and work with a adhesive foil to catch the insects. In addition, the infestation control required by HACCP guidelines is thus möglich.

Scope of delivery - Ready-to-mount device, including mounting hardware. Delivery includes 10 adhesive foils (change depending on stocking). Replacement foils see accessories.
The UV-A lamps - Mercury vapor lamps with low pressure, consisting of a glass tube shell with two electrodes and internal fluorescent coating. The radiations are in the UV range between 300 and 400 nm with a peak of 365 nm, are not dangerous to humans and have an almost magical attraction to insects.
