The electric insect traps Cri-Cri 305, 307 and 307 are only permitted for use in closed rooms

The devices must not be used outdoors, as non-selective insect traps (devices with UV light as an attractant) catch not only pests but also useful and protected insects there and threaten biodiversity. Attracting, trapping and killing specially protected animals with artificial light sources or electronic devices is prohibited by law!

Electric insect traps work on a simple principle: a luminous beam in the range of 365 nm, which is very attractive for insects, attracts them. On their way to the light, the pests have to pass through an electrode grid that is charged with high voltage (usually several thousand volts). When approaching these electrodes, the insects are killed quickly and safely. The 305/307/308 series is designed for rugged continuous use, e.g., in commercial or agricultural environments.

Housing - The housing is made of impact resistant ABS - plastic in the color gray. The protective grille is chrome-plated steel. In the models 307A and 308A the protective grids are hot-dip galvanized. The very robust construction ensures a high very service life even in an aggressive environment.
Safety - The IMQ mark is a guarantee of electrical safety. A safety switch interrupts the power supply as soon as the protective grille is removed for cleaning purposes. The sockets are sealed against the ingress of dirt and moisture. Protection class IPX4.
The UV-A lampn - mercury vapor lamps with low pressure, consisting of a glass tube shell with two electrodes and internal fluorescent coating. The radiation is in the UV range between 300 and 400 nm with a peak of 365 nm, is not dangerous to humans and has a magical attraction to insects.
Powerful - Lamp features: Model 305: 1 x 20 watts, Model 307A and 307E: 2 x 20 watts, Model 308A and 308E: 2 x 40 watts. Insect lamps from brand manufacturers guarantee the best trapping results.

Installation - Ready-to-plug-in, ready-to-use device for installation on flat surfaces or for chain suspension.
Insects can become dangerous - Insects are not only annoying, but can also transmit diseases. Wherever insects come into contact with food, this danger exists.
