LED lamp flickers when controlled with the remote control
If LED illuminants flicker, this can have several reasons:
- You are trying to dim an LED light fixture that is NOT dimmable.
To prevent the LED from flickering, the dimming function in the handheld transmitter must be disabled.
This is done with a small DIP switch in the battery compartment of the remote control:
Please also read the operating instructions of your remote control.
IMPORTANT: After switching, the batteries must be removed and reinserted.
Only after this reset, the handheld transmitter recognizes the Änderung.
The remote control #99390 from Hunter is set to "NO DIM" when shipped from the factory.
To turn on the dimming function, please hold down the fan button and then press the light button twice.
Unfortunately, there is still no uniform standard for dimming LED light bulbs.
With the exception of the FB-IR Basic remote control, all CasaFan remote controls are equipped with a dimming function that works on the basis of phase angle control.
