Roof fans - venting large volumes of air at low cost
Roof fans are basically exhaust fans. They convey polluted and stale air freely out of the room or through a duct system to the outside. Usually equipped with a radial impeller, they allow high pressures and high air volumes. Roof fans are of horizontal discharge or vertical discharge design.
In a special form, roof fans are available as fire gas fan. In the event of a fire, they remove smoke from escape routes, reduce the risk of suffocation and thus ensure the survival of the occupants/users. Our roof fans in the fire gas version are designed and tested to withstand a temperature of 120 minutes at 400 °C. They are dualuse models that operate as vent fans at normal temperatures.
Roof fans are often used as shaft ventilators in multi-story residential construction. They vent the bathrooms of the floor apartments via a common shaft. Suitable accessories such as non-return dampers, protective grilles and speed controllers for our various roof fans complement our product range. Thus, almost any ventilation solution can be realized.
