Pipe silencers reduce sound transmission in ventilation systems. They can be used on both the suction and pressure sides. They replace a pipe section of 1.0 m. Construction - Consisting of multilayer perforated aluminum, sheathed with a 25mm layer of Dämmwool acoustic and thermal insulation. Outer jacket made of glass fiber reinforced aluminum laminate.
Pressure drop - The pressure drop of CSS sound attenuators is low. When designing the system, approximately twice the pipe friction resistance of a pipe of the same inside diameter should be taken into account.
Connectors - Made of galvanized steel with rubber lip seal.
Combinable - To obtain a higher inlet insulation, several pipe silencers of the same diameter can be arranged in series.
