Speed controller

To control the speed of variable speed AC motors, electronic speed controllers are used. Several motors can also be connected to these up to the rated load capacity of the speed controller.


WS1,5: Speed controller für AP and UP mounting with central control knob. Start-up on high power. Common features - TThe minimum speed can be set in the unit at a potentiometer (please note that the motor still starts up smoothly). When connecting several fans to one speed controller, allow for at least 10% reserve load.
WS1 - WS 10 - Housing plastic, color light gray / white. Suitable for surface mounting. Protection class IP54.
WS1,5 - WS 2,5 - Suitable for any switch system with 6 mm - axis with accessories of the system manufacturer.

The technical principle of phase angle control, on which speed controllers are based, can cause a sometimes disturbing humming noise in the lower speed range. In noise-sensitive areas (e.g. bedrooms), use step transformers to control fans.
